Rachel's in the money
JACKPOT winner Rachel Anderson plans to splash out on a new bed after scooping the top prize of £2,000 in the first 3 Hospices SupaLott weekly draw.
Rachel, 68, of Marlow Road, Bourne End, won the prize after entering the £1 random draw organised by the South Bucks Hospice, the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home and the Aylesbury Hospice. Proceeds are distributed equally between the hospices.
A delighted Rachel (pictured) said: "It's the first thing I've ever won - I couldn't believe it at first. I was away on holiday at the time and my daughter took the phonecall and left me a note on the kitchen table.
"I never usually enter anything like this but I felt I wanted to support this scheme because it is local and so worthwhile."
