A SICK bat is recovering after gatecrashing an aerobic class.
The tiny Pipistrelle bat crashlanded in Holy Trinity School hall in Wethered Road, Marlow, last Thursday evening. The bat was spotted on the floor by one of the class before the adult workout began.
Aerobic teacher Jane Douglass, said: "I thought it was a frog at first. We got a box and put him in the corridor because I didn't think he would like the Spice Girls."
Mrs Douglass contacted Sue Hart who runs a rescue centre called Echoes Batcare in Downley. Mrs Douglass is now nursing the bat back to health.
This week is designated National Bat Week in an effort to raise awareness about the plight of the endangered species.
