PUPILS at The Beaconsfield School have won the Chiltern Cup for business enterprise.
The year 11 team was awarded the prize at Latimer Conference Centre.
Twelve students got together and set themselves up as a company and became directors, managers and secretaries.
They produced antique-framed postcards, candles and denim bags.
The pupils were advised by members of the Rotary Club of Beaconsfield and assisted by school staff.
Adviser Fred Redfearn said of the contest: "At the beginning of the year, the participants had little knowledge about the operation of a business.
"By the time of the presentation evening, however, they had formed themselves into an extremely successful company."
