A NEW school building was blessed in a ceremony at Princes Risborough on Monday.
St Teresa's Catholic School, which is at the junction of Aylesbury Road and New Road, held a mass to bless the new block.
The £500,000 building provides seven classrooms, a toilet and staff-room facilities. The school has 150 pupils aged two-and-a-half to 12.
Headteacher Celia Sparkes, speaking about the 28-year fundraising campaign for the block, said: "I believe this is why the children are so giving, because of the example set by the parents who have made this happen."
Parents, staff, children and ex-pupils joined celebrations to mark the block's opening.
