ONE of High Wycombe's best known pubs and restaurants, The Boulevard, has suddenly closed.
The restaurant, which is next to the UCI Wycombe 6 cinema in Crest Road, Cressex, shut down without notice on Monday last week.
The owners say it will remain closed indefinitely while they consider its future.
It had been open seven days a week and was popular for live music, DJs and karaoke nights.
Allied Domecq Leisure's Qualities Division has run The Boulevard for about ten years but would not comment on why the decision to close down had been taken.
It had up to five staff.
A company statement said: "We're considering the future of The Boulevard and, as a result, it will remain closed for the time being."
Ted Rehill, manager of TJ O'Reilly's pub at Marlow Bottom, said he had a call from someone who had a birthday party booked at The Boulevard this week.
He said they switched the function to his pub.
