POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a gun was fired through the window of a house in Holmer Green.
Police say someone went around to the back of the house in Sheepcote Dell Road and shot through a ground-floor window.
There were four adults in the house at the time and two children who were asleep upstairs.
Nobody was hurt in the incident which police say happened on Friday at 11.15pm.
Police spokesman Marc Sanderson said: "Fortunately, no one was hurt, but everyone involved was shocked."
Police believe the shooting may be connected to an earlier dispute in the Bat and Ball public house in Penfold Lane, Holmer Green.
A man was arrested in connection with the shooting a short while later. The man was released on police bail pending further investigations.
