A CLASS of 1980 is set to meet up in October for a reunion with just one classmate missing.

'We are only looking for one more person,' said Emma Tyson, nee King, who is searching for the missing school friend.

'The reunion is not until October but it's taken a long while to find everybody.'

Mrs Tyson, 31, of Lane End Road, High Wycombe, decided to set up a reunion for Mrs Christine Lloyd's 1980 class at Park County Middle School in Cedar Avenue, Hazlemere, High Wycombe, when she met fellow class member Karen Newton in the gym a couple of years ago.

Both women began to wonder what other past pupils were doing.

Missing pupil Steffan Fay, who would have been about 11 or 12 at the time, is the only class member missing from the reunion list.

He was last known in Aylesbury and attended Aylesbury Boys Grammar School.

Mrs Tyson added: 'I'm still local and amazingly I could still remember where some people lived, but others were difficult to find. Everyone has been really keen.'

It is hoped that all 27 members of the class will be able to attend the reunion on October 14.

One former pupil is even travelling from Singapore to meet old class friends.
