Re: 'Gipsy says Wycombe is most racist' - BFP July 14
I HAVE just read the article on this week's Free Press regarding the Reverend Terry Hurst.
I am sure he already knows the answer 'why most Wycombe people do not want an official gipsy campsite'.
How will they look after it, when travellers make such a mess on unofficial sites? The most recent being near Gerrards Cross/Beaconsfield area. I drove past this site yesterday and it is shocking and disgraceful. The mess, I can't believe it, cars are stripped and dumped - the amount of rubbish. Perhaps Rev Hurst could make a collection at one of his next meetings and get this area cleared.
Because it's no wonder people are against a gipsy site, especially when the local taxpayers have to pay to clear the travellers' mess.
