CONFERENCE communications company Auditel Ltd has completed a £500,000 contract for the voting and sound communications systems at the Parliament building in Mexico.
The systems, which are being installed for the new Government, include a fingerprint verification system for members to prevent fraudulent voting.
This system is believed to the world's first for this type of installation.
It is positioned alongside each member's microphone and other controls.
The installation, which is being carried out in conjunction with Biometric Corporation of the USA and Angel Electronica in Mexico, is the 30th parliament around the world to feature one of the systems from Auditel, which is based in Raans Road in Amersham.
