I WRITE with reference to the obituary on Mr Walter Wright that was printed in last week's edition of the Bucks Free Press. I write to advise you that we were disappointed that no mention was made about Wally's connection with the local MS branch.
I would, therefore, be grateful if you would be able to print in your newspaper the fact that both Wally and his late wife Flo, who died a couple of weeks before, were active members and supporters of the High Wycombe and District Branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society for the last 30 years, right up until they died.
They were much loved by our members and their presence and contribution to the branch will be sadly missed. We have received just over £800 in memory of both Flo and Wally and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who gave a donation, it is greatly appreciated and will be benefited by people with MS in the local area.
