POLICE have issued an e-fit of a man who grabbed a 20-year-old woman and indecently assaulted her before punching her in the stomach.
Police have since warned women not to walk alone at night.
The attacker struck on Saturday, September 2, at around 9.15pm as the 20-year-old woman walked along a pathway leading to the main A40 road from the Tesco car park in Loudwater, High Wycombe.
He first asked for directions to High Wycombe and, after she told him the way, he grabbed her and indecently assaulted her before punching her in the stomach. He then stole a cashpoint card and ran off.
The attacker is described as white, about 6ft tall, of slim build, in his late 20s with short, shaved, bleached blond hair and narrow eyes.
At the time of the incident, he was clean shaven and was wearing denim jeans, a dark coloured tracksuit top and white trainer-style shows.
Thames Valley Police spokesman Kate Spark said: 'The lady is obviously distressed by her ordeal. We would urge women not to walk alone at night, particularly in dimly lit areas.'
She added that women should consider carrying personal alarms.
