BRAVE Tina Edwards went under the clippers to get a new hair style - and to raise money for a special care baby unit.
Tina, 23, a former nursery nurse, decided to get her locks shorn for the unit at Wycombe Hospital after she visited it during her training.
She said: 'When I visited the unit it touched my heart and I just wanted to do something for them.'
Tina, of Mill End Road, Sands, High Wycombe, had her locks lopped off and dyed red at Teresa's Hair Salon in Cressex, High Wycombe on Friday.
By the time she has collected all the sponsorship money, she will have raised £1,700.
Tina said: 'It went very well, although I did re-dye my hair back to my natural colour because it didn't turn out how I expected.
'I've had various reactions from people ranging from 'it looks different' to 'you look like a 15-year-old boy'.'
