The dazzling array of colourful floats started festivities with a procession from Foxes Piece School to Higginson Park on Saturday.
Roger Wilson, chairman of Marlow Community Association which is behind the event, in its 21st year, said: 'It was a super day and everything went very well. I think it was one of the most successful we have seen.'
Mr Wilson praised the efforts of volunteers, float builders and stall workers who he said all helped make the day possible.
Marlow Mayor Derek Done judged the floats with his wife, town councillor Margaret Done.
He said: 'It was a very successful day from what I could see.
'Everyone seemed to have a good time and the standard of the floats was very high.'
The winners of the float competition this year were Little Marlow School with an animal theme and Trinity School in Wethered Road with an Olympic theme.
