Part of a supermarket had to be cordoned off on Sunday after a leak in the roof caused ceiling tiles to dislodge.
Safeway Supermarket, Temple End, High Wycombe, had to close a third of its store for two hours at 10am on Sept 24 after excessive rain put the roof at risk.
The ceiling in the building is suspended and over-flowing drains caused water pipes in the roof to over-run. Tiles became dislodged but none fell to the floor.
Steve Wilson, manager of the store, said: "In all my years in Safeway it is an occurrence I have never come across before. There was no damage to anybody apart from getting wet."
Extension work is on-going at the front of the store but the work is not thought to have caused the problems in the store.
