MARLOW made it a league hat-trick when they thrashed Witney 34-10 to keep their unbeaten record intact and stay top of South West Two.
But while Marlow are enjoying an early-season high, neighbours Wycombe can't get off the mark.
Wycombe are still hunting their first league win after being thumped 45-7 by Tadley last weekend.
That defeat was Wycombe's third reversal of the season and they will be looking to try and get off the mark tomorrow when they travel to Stow on the Wold.
Marlow, meanwhile, will be hoping to inflict their second defeat of the season on North Bucks rivals Aylesbury, who they dumped out of the RFU Intermediate Cup just a fortnight ago.
Aylesbury will be after revenge for that embarrassing defeat, which saw them crushed 33-6 by Kevin Robinson's side.
But Marlow look good.
They bossed their clash against newly-promoted Whitney last weekend.
Marlow were on the scoreboard within five minutes, after Ewen Hunter found Guy Ayland down the right.
Uncharacteristically, Murry Walker's conversion went well wide, and that mattered when Witney added their own try, which they successfully converted.
But Walker made amends just before the break drilling home a penalty to put them a point to the good.
Walker widened the gap after the re-start with a drop goal and when Dan Sumpter crashed over the line twice in quick succession, Marlow were really on a roll.
The game was then beyond Witney's reach and Marlow added more points through Ayland and Paul Harrison.
Meanwhile, Amersham and Chiltern were in Tetley's Bitter Cup action, but their involvement in this year's competition was short-lived.
They crashed out of the contest to last year's South West Two league winners Swanage.
Amersham found themselves up against it from the start with Swanage rushing to an 8-0 lead before the visitors managed to get on the scoreboard.
But tries from Benoit O'Dell and Ryan Westmacott and one conversion from Dave Richardson brought Amersham back into the battle before Swanage edged it at the end.
But captain Brian Richardson said: 'On balance they were very lucky.'
