MARLOW had two men sent off as they crashed 4-0 at home to second division leaders Hemel Hempstead on Tuesday night.
Goalkeeper Lee Carroll and Matt Flint were both sent off in separate incidents as Marlow lost their cool and lost their way.
Keeper Carroll was sent off for a professional foul on the stroke of half time when the scores were still locked at 0-0.
Jason Travis took over between the sticks and he must have thought goalkeeping was easy as Hemel missed the resulting penalty.
But the stand-in stopper had to face another penalty in the 56th minute incident which saw Flint dismissed - and this time Hemel converted the spot kick.
Travis was then at fault for Hemel's second when he missed a punch and goals three and four followed in the final five minutes.
But there was better news last Saturday when Marlow squeezed past Clacton 1-0 in the FA Vase. Tomorrow, Marlow play Barking.
