Organisers received 80 more entries on last year's event, with a total of 180 competitors taking part.
The race started and finished in Higginson Park, starting with a 4,000 metre row, followed by a 25km bike race and then a 7.5km run over the bridge and to Temple before returning to the park.
Mike Spencer-Jones, event spokesman, said: 'Thanks must go to all the events marshals, Saddle Safari Cycles, Turner Sports, EDS Ltd, St John's Ambulance Service and Maidenhead ATC for helping make the event such a success.'
The race was completed by 144 of the athletes, who came from as far as Chester, Cambridge, Warwick, Kent and Bedford.
The overall winner was Mark Edmonds, of Tri UK Incorporated, finishing in a time of one hour and 27 minutes. The fastest lady on the day was Miriam Taylor from Bedford with a time of one hour and 44 minutes.
