February 8, 2001 9:26: CHILTERN Railways are warning passengers of a big increase in demand for its trains after the strike action on the London Underground.
The company plans to run its full advertised timetable using all available carriages. But it is likely that its trains will be very busy, especially from stations closer to London.
Passengers who are planning to travel from a different Chiltern Railways' station should ensure that they have a valid ticket for the journey and should bear in mind that many of the car parks are busy.
The situation could change so passengers are advised to check before they travel.
