February 15, 2001 9:30: WYCOMBE Wanderers will be bidding for a place in the quarter finals of the FA Cup when they take on First Division Wimbledon in front of another sellout crowd Adams Park on Saturday.

The match pits manager Lawrie Sanchez up against the team where he made his name as a player, scoring the Dons 1988 FA Cup winner against Liverpool.

Wanderers are playing in the fifth round for the first time in their history having already knocked out Harrow Borough, Millwall, Grimsby Town and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Dons had to wait until Tuesday night to book their place with a 3-1 extra-time win over Terry Venables' Middlesbrough at Selhurst Park in their fourth round replay.

All tickets for Saturday's match have been sold out, although at the time of going to press some £65 hospitality packages were still available.

Fans are advised to set out earlier than normal for the match and use public transport where possible as parking around the stadium is limited.

But people without tickets are being told to stay away and watch the highlights on Match of The Day instead.
