THIEVES have stolen £1 million worth of perfume from a warehouse in High Wycombe.
Now the Perfume Shop is offering a £10,000 reward for information leading to the successful arrest and conviction of the perpetrators.
Jeremy Seigal, managing director, said: "We regard the whole thing as very serious and we are therefore offering a large sum of money.
"As a business we are responsible to stores and customers to get it back.
"From the hard work here in the warehouse and in the head office, it has enabled us to resume normal service."
Police are now calling for information regarding the stolen pallets of perfume and aftershave.
A police spokesman said: "A large amount of perfume was taken and the retail value of the stolen stock is believed to be around £1 million."
The burglary happened some time between 10pm on Saturday, and 3.20am on Sunday, at The Perfume Shop, Gateway Centre in Cressex, High Wycombe.
The spokesman added: "A large variety of products were taken, although at least three brands are exclusive to The Perfume Shop. These include, Ferrari Eau De Toilette spray 75ml. Other brands stolen include Hugo Eau De Toilette spray 40ml, Memoire D'Homme Eau De Toilette spray 100ml and Memoire D'Homme Shower Gels."
Det Con Paul Keeping, leading the investigation, said: "If you are approached by anyone offering to sell you any of these brands of perfume, contact police.
"I am keen to hear from anyone who notices someone who suddenly has a large amount of perfume to sell at fairs, markets or car boot sales."
Police believe a large vehicle, possibly an articulated lorry, was used to transport the stolen goods.
