PUPILS at Stoke Poges School were given a Christmas treat when they got to meet Robbie Williams and perform a carol on breakfast television show GMTV.
The children in the school's singing club, aged between four and seven, also met Diversity - the dance group that beat Susan Boyle to top spot in Britain's Got Talent.
Their rendition of Away in a Manger was broadcast on December 17 and they ran into the stars during their visit to the studios on London's Southbank.
Maureen Barton, a teacher at the Rogers Lane school, said: “The kids were so excited when they came back to class and wouldn't stop talking about it. They sang on the show last year too but this was a lovely treat for them.
“Another teacher at the school used to work for GMTV so we have that connection.”
