JUNIOR PEDAL PUSH – SUNDAY 5th JULY 2009 For the very first time, The Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of High Wycombe have organised a Junior Pedal Push event in conjunction with British Cycling Organisation and School Sport Partnership and this will take place at St Bernard’s RC School, Daws Hill Lane, High Wycombe between 10am and 4pm on Sunday 5th July.
Entry and sponsorship forms are available at all schools in the High Wycombe area.
This will be a great fun day for all the family and riders aged between 5 and 12 from Schools throughout the Wycombe area will participate and help raise funds through their sponsors and an entry fee of £2 per rider.
All funds raised will be divided 50/50 between the riders’ own school and Charities nominated by the Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of High Wycombe.
The format is a circuit that can be completed as many times as the rider wishes and the total number of laps will be recorded for sponsorship purposes plus a prize awarded to the rider completing the most laps.
There will be a variety of supporting activities including Competitive Cycling Skills, Road Safety instruction and Bike Maintenance advice. The Mix Mega Slide will be on site plus a Stunt Rider performing acrobatic feats and a BBQ for all the family
