Chiltern Humanists are celebrating the two Charles Darwin anniversaries at its next meeting in Wendover.
The group will be celebrating that this year marks the 200th anniversary of Darwin’s birth and the 150th anniversary of the publication of his book ‘On the Origin of Species’.
Guest speaker Ralph Ison, who has taught on the subject for many years, will be describing Darwin’s early life and the famous voyage of the Beagle as well as arguing against and article of evolution as published in a 1980 Sunday paper.
All are welcome to attend this special meeting which will be held at Wendover Library at 7.45pm on Tuesday 9 June.
