THE distraught owners of a rare dog who has gone missing have offered a reward and set up a Facebook page to track him down.
Harvey, a six and a half-year-old Hamiltonstovare or Swedish hound, ran away following a scent whilst with owner Jane Morris in woods near Pednor on Wednesday May 6.
The last confirmed sighting of Harvey was in South Heath and he is also believed to have been spotted in the Ballinger allotments and Frith Hill heading in the direction of Hyde Heath.
Jane, the incoming mini and junior chairperson for Chesham Rugby Club, said: "Harvey has never gone missing for this long before so it is feared that he may now have been stolen given his rarity and beauty.
"I am distraught at Harvey's disappearance and concerned that he had been taken by someone who would not appreciate how much exercise he needs."
Harvey has been microchipped and was wearing a black collar at the time of his disappearance.
Anyone with any information should call Steven Morris on 07887 632704 or email steven.morris@grg.com.
