The family of a man who was killed in a motorcyclist crash earlier this year has paid tribute to a ‘much-loved son, brother, uncle and daddy’.

Brandon Leighton, 28, was last seen outside a kebab van on Link Road in Great Missenden at around 11pm on Wednesday, July 17.

He was reported missing on Friday, July 19 with an appeal being put out to try and find him.

However, Thames Valley Police revealed on Saturday, July 20, that they believed to have found Brandon deceased.

This was after the force was called to an incident at around 5.20pm on July 19, ‘of a fatal road traffic collision involving one vehicle on the A413 near Great Missenden, where the body of a motorcyclist was located.’

Nearly five months on from his sad passing, his family have released the following tribute.

They said: “As a family, we are devastated at the tragic loss of Brandon Richard Leighton.

“He was a much-loved son, brother, uncle and daddy.

“Brandon was always full of life, love and kindness.

“He brought laughter and smiles to anyone he was around.

“He will be dearly missed by us all and his passing will forever leave a hole in our hearts.

“Brandon will forever be loved and remembered by all those who knew him.

“You will understand that the loss of Brandon has come as a tremendous shock to us all and no words can truly express what we as a family are feeling.

“This will be the only statement that we will be releasing on this matter, and we would ask you to respect ours and Brandon’s friend’s privacy at this desperately difficult time.”
