Two restaurants have been given a new hygiene score following recent inspections.
Baguettes & More along Hughenden Avenue in High Wycombe was handed a three-out-of-five rating after an assessment on October 24.
On the same day, inspectors from Buckinghamshire Council attended Smokey Grills & Pizza in Chalfont St Peter and gave the same score.
It means that from Buckinghamshire's 296 takeaways with ratings, 172 (58 per cent) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
Despite the average scores for both establishments, Baguettes & More and Smokey Grills & Pizza boast numerous positive online testimonials.
The High Wycombe eatery has a score of 4.2/5 from 83 Google Reviews, whilst the Chalfont St Peter venue has a rating of 4/5 from six reviews.
The latter only opened within the last six weeks.
One review reads: “Came here at 10pm as most other things were closed.
“Waited about 20 mins for kebab and chips - but it was well worth the wait.
“Tasty, hot, well prepared.
“Much better than most other kebab/burger/pizza joints.
“Spotlessly clean too.
“It might be very new, but it was great.”
A review for Bauguttes & More reads: “Honestly best snack shop about best jacket potato and baguettes it's a must try all at a good price.”
