Delays have been spotted on a section of Buckinghamshire’s stretch of the M40 due to a ‘road-traffic incident’.

Images from Traffic Cameras UK show the emergency services have rushed to an area between Junction 5 and Junction 4 southbound between Stokenchurch and High Wycombe.

Motorists heading in that direction have been told to ‘approach with caution and allow extra time' for their respective journies.

The incident has since been confirmed as a car fire with firefighters from Bucks Fire and Rescue arriving at the scene.
