MPs have backed plans to legalise assisted dying in a historic vote in the House of Commons.
In the first Commons vote on the matter in nearly a decade, MPs voted 330 to 275 in support of the bill.
There will now be further debates by MPs and peers with approval needed from both Houses of Parliament before it becomes law.
