The late former One Direction singer and ex-Chalfont resident Liam Payne had listed his Buckinghamshire house for sale a month before he died.

The 31-year-old, who had a net worth of nearly £50 million, had resided in the Foxwood mansion in Chalfont St Giles since the start of the decade.

He had moved to the Thames Valley after selling his properties in the USA and Surrey, to be near his former partner and the mother of his child, Cheryl Tweedy.

The Girls Aloud singer currently lives in Chalfont St Peter with their seven-year-old son, Bear.

However, information on the Rightmove website shows that the five-bedroom property which also boasts four bathrooms was listed in September.

Payne died in October after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina.

His funeral was held in Amersham on November 20, which was attended by numerous public figures including his former 1D colleagues Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson, whilst music manager and record producer Simon Cowell also attended.

High Wycombe entertainer James Cordon, former Premier League and Republic of Ireland footballer Robbie Keane and ex-Match of the Day 2 host Adrian Chiles were also present at St Mary the Virgin Church.

The property, which is valued at roughly £3million, sits on six acres of land, a swimming pool, a separate one-bedroom annexe and a stable.

After Payne’s death, flowers were left outside his Chalfont home, where residents admitted that the singer was ‘very private’ in the village.

One of his final social media posts before his death on October 16 shows Payne playing with his pet dog at his Chalfont St Giles property.
