Esri UK has been named Vendor of the Year at the UK IT Industry Awards 2024.
This recognition celebrates organisations and technologies contributing to advancements in the IT sector.
The awards are administered by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT and Computing.
The Vendor of the Year accolade is awarded for excellence in several areas, including revenue growth, market leadership, innovation, customer satisfaction, and workplace diversity.
The judges described Esri UK's entry as 'a brilliant all-round entry,' particularly praising the company's investments in diversity and innovation.
Esri UK was also noted for its efforts to become a global leader in geospatial technology.
The UK IT Industry Awards are among the most prestigious in the tech sector, with other winners this year including Aviva, UK Power Networks, Bank of England, and Openreach Technology.
Managing Director Pete Wilkinson said: "The company’s dedication to making a difference to society, the economy and the planet with location technology has been the driving force behind this achievement.
"We are immensely proud of this recognition within a very competitive industry."
Esri UK's geographical information systems (GIS) have been instrumental in various high-profile projects.
These include assisting the Met Office with climate change data access, aiding Crown Estate in planning offshore wind farm locations, and helping Airedale General Hospital manage Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) to ensure safety and operation.
