Children can trade old teddies for new ones at a shopping centre's Christmas event.
The Eden Shopping Centre, in High Wycombe, will be hosting its Eco Elves Teddy Trade this year.
From November 30, children can bring their old teddies to the centre to trade them for new ones.
The old teddies will then be donated to Stokenchurch Dog Rescue to 'bring Christmas warmth and cheer to rescue dogs waiting for a loving home'.
All the money made from ticket sales will be donated to local charities.
Rebecca Gomme, marketing manager at the Eden Shopping Centre, said: "We’re thrilled to bring back our Eco Elves.
"Building on the success of last year’s Eco Elves Tree-Cycle, where children transformed magic beans into miniature Christmas trees; this year the focus is on upcycling teddies.
"Mrs Claus can’t wait to welcome all the children and give them a fun and engaging way to learn about sustainability and show that even small actions—like repurposing toys—can make a big difference."
Tickets for the Eco Elves Teddy Trade must be pre-booked on the Eden Shopping Centre website.
The trade can be located outside of Boots.
The event will run from November 30 until Christmas and tickets cost £3.50 each, plus a booking fee.
