A new one-day festival for music lovers of all ages is set to debut in north Buckinghamshire.
Forever Now, organised by AEG Presents, will take place at The National Bowl in Milton Keynes, on June 22, 2025.
The festival will celebrate alternative culture, bringing together fans of post-punk music, fashion, and literature.
Forever Now will be the UK sister event of the US festival Cruel World, which is produced and promoted by Goldenvoice in Pasadena, California.
The festival will explore the cultural phenomenon of creativity, from new wave to post-punk, psychedelia, and alt-rock.
A line-up of pioneering artists from these genres will be announced soon.
Steve Homer, CEO of AEG Presents, said: "We are delighted to present a festival that reflects the rich heritage of artists in the alternative music field.
"The day will feature some amazing artists, unique sets, and collaborations not seen on a UK stage before.
"As the birthplace of alt counterculture, the UK is the perfect home for a festival to pay homage to alternative creative artistry."
The festival will feature two stages dedicated to music and a third stage, The Echo Chamber.
The Echo Chamber will be hosted by music journalist John Robb and will feature in-depth discussions with renowned artists.
John Robb said: "The world just got less cruel with this announcement of the Forever Now festival that brings the cream of the post-punk crop to Milton Keynes this summer, mixing the old, new, borrowed and blue in a line-up of classic and cutting edge.
"If you feel a nostalgia for an age yet to come whilst still seeking the classic and have a curiosity for the next wave, then this will be a day to get immersed in."
Pre-sale access starts on December 5, with a limited first release ticket available from £85.
General sale opens at 10am on Friday, December 6, with tickets available from AXS and Ticketmaster, and premium VIP packages available.
Forever Now is described as an "electrifying gathering for those who thrive on individuality and connection."
The festival invites everyone, from the "fashionably dark to the fiercely unconventional," to enjoy a day of music and community.
Further announcements, including the full line-up, are set to be revealed on Monday, December 2.
Forever Now aims to be a festival where "nostalgia meets discovery, where new and devoted fans unite, and where forever truly begins now."
