An area of open land previously used for storage could be transformed with the construction of four new homes.
Plans have been submitted to Buckinghamshire Council to build four new homes on the site off of Main Road, Lacey Green.
If approved the scheme would see three three-bedroom homes constructed, as well as one five-bedroom house complete with garages and parking.
A dropdown curb would also be created and the gardens of two neighbouring cottages would be shortened to make way for the development.
Plans for the site, which would stretch out behind 17 and 18 Westlands Road, were submitted to the council on October 2 by Dell Brothers Ltd.

In documents submitted to the council, the applicant says the land is currently used for materials storage and contains one single-storey building which would be demolished.
They add that the plan "represents an acceptable and appropriate form of development in the Green Belt.
"The proposed layout, scale, form, materials and design of the proposed dwellings would respect and respond positively to the mixed and varied built-up character of the area, integrating successfully with the established context, and conserving the special landscape qualities of this part of the Chilterns National Landscape.
"There would be no adverse impact on neighbouring residential amenity.
"An appropriate and high-quality living environment would be created for future occupiers of the residential development."

A new access road would be created from Main Road serving all of the new homes with the first three plots provided with two parking spaces.
The five-bedroom home would have a double garage and four parking spaces.
A turning area would also be included in front of the larger property suitable for delivery drivers.
The applicant adds that the new homes would not visually influence the existing properties and would not be visible from other parts of the village or the surrounding countryside.
A decision is expected to be made on the plans by January 13, 2025.
