A dog has been rescued by firefighters after becoming stuck in a balancing pond near Aylesbury.
Firefighters raced to the pond near Montsorrell Place, Broughton at 7.58am yesterday morning (November 25).
Two fire engines and crews from Aylesbury attended as well as a fire officer.

Water rescue gear and a reach pole were used to rescue the dog.
A balancing pond is aimed at containing a surge of water during rainfall so that it can be released slowly rather than being dumped immediately into the drainage system.
