A crowdfunding page set up for a Marlow teenager after he was diagnosed with leukaemia has raised almost £7,500.
Emma Lowden set up the page for her son Seth after he was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia for the second time last April.
The youngster was first diagnosed in November 2022 and underwent a long stay at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford undergoing chemotherapy.
But despite ending treatment in May 2023, less than a year later Emma noticed fresh bruising on Seth's arm and took him for blood tests, only to be told the cancer had returned.
Seth, now 13, has since undergone further treatment, having a cord blood transplant in July this year, and is now recovering at home after being discharged from Great Ormond Street Hospital in August.

But now the GoFundMe page set up to raise awareness about registering as a stem cell donor and to help with anything Seth needs during his treatment has almost hit its £7,500 target.
At the time of writing, the page has raised £7,245 with 205 people donating to the cause.
In a recent update on the page, Emma wrote: "We can’t express enough gratitude for all your continued support – it really does make all the difference.
"Thank you again to everyone who has stood by us – your kindness keeps us going."
Seth has been attending weekly check-ups at John Radcliffe Hospital and is gaining weight after the long ordeal.
Before the transplant, Emma, her husband and Seth's 10-year-old brother were all tested to see if they were a match, allowing them to be his stem cell donor but despite this, they weren't compatible.
But after a breakthrough at a lab or hospital in Spain, a donor was found allowing the surgery to go ahead.
Commenting on the GoFundMe page, Emma added: "Please spread awareness about how to register on the stem cell register.
If you can, PLEASE REGISTER TODAY. You can find all the answers to your questions on the Anthony Nolan website below. You might just get that chance to save somebody’s life."
The money raised is also helping to provide him with a comfier environment at home and is funding any equipment his health team feels is necessary.
