DOZENS of taxi drivers have been banned from picking up customers in Buckinghamshire amid reports of sex crimes, knife possession and serious assault.
More than 50 cabbies have had their applications for permits blocked, newly published annual figures show.
During the period, 26 drivers had their licences revoked including for motoring offences, such as using phones at the wheel and driving under the influence of drugs.
Violent offences, including one murder investigation and arrests for assault and criminal damage, were among the other reasons given.
