The body of a man has been found in Chesham.
Thames Valley Police confirmed the news via their South Buckinghamshire Facebook page, revealing that the person in question was discovered on Friday, November 15.
Whilst formal identification has not yet taken place, it is believed to be a 49-year-old man called Stuart, who went missing two days prior [Wednesday, November 13].
The force said: “His family have been informed and are being supported.
“Our thoughts are with Stuart’s family at this difficult time.
“Thank you to members of the public, who provided support in our search.”
Many online tributes have been left for the 49-year-old.
Pete Furness said: “Sometimes in life, things can get really hard and push the limits.
“I feel so sorry for the family.
“R.I.P, I hope you find your freedom.”
Kelly Brightwell added: “Sending love to all Stuart’s family.
“Only saw him a few weeks back so deeply saddened.”
Lisa Mace said: “Prayers go to his family at this sad time.”
Maggie Lewis added: “My condolences to family and friends.”
