A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a crash along the Berkshire/Buckinghamshire border.

At approximately 7.30am on Friday, November 15 on the A355 between Farnham Common and Beaconsfield, near the junction with Hare Hatch Lane, a black Ford Focus, with the license plate ending in FLW, and a Volkswagen Touran in Silver, with the license plate ending in XUY, were involved in a collision.

This occurred after the Ford Focus was seen to be driving ‘erratically’, according to Thames Valley Police.

A 37-year-old man, from Hemel Hempstead, has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving, and has been released on police bail until January 29.

Additionally, a 32-year-old male from Birmingham has also been arrested for assaults on emergency service workers, and has been released on police bail until February 5.

Investigating officer PC Alistair Bennett, from the roads policing unit, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to please come forward, particularly to anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage that may assist with our investigation.
