More than 20 schools and community groups in Wycombe have signed up for UK Parliament Week 2024.
The annual event, which runs from November 18 to November 24, aims to spread awareness about the workings of the UK Parliament and encourage public involvement.
Emma Reynolds MP will visit schools including Beechview Academy and Castlefield Primary to witness students' preparations for the week.
She will also be fielding questions from the Castlefield school councillors and reading letters about democracy from West Wycombe School's Year 4 pupils.
UK Parliament Week serves as a reminder of the UK's parliamentary system, with more than 1.6 million people having participated last year.
Participants receive a free digital kit with resources, including a booklet tailored for youth groups, primary and secondary schools, or adults, a ballot box, bunting, and a unique card game.
Emma Reynolds MP said: "As the MP for Wycombe, I am delighted that so many organisations have signed up for UK Parliament Week 2024, including local Girlguiding and Scouting units.
"I welcome this opportunity for communities to come together to find out about UK Parliament.
"I have visited several Wycombe organisations during UK Parliament Week and hope to meet with many more in the months ahead."
Fran Jeens, head of education and engagement at UK Parliament, said: "We look forward to lots of UKPW activities taking place in Wycombe."
