One school has been forced to close after heavy snow fell in Buckinghamshire.
On Tuesday, November 19, many residents all over the county woke up to a silent storm of snow settling in several areas of the Thames Valley.
The night before, the forecast had warned that temperatures were going to drop quite considerably, and snow was a possibility.
And it has now been confirmed that one school will NOT open due to the weather conditions.
The school in question is Grendon Underwood Combined School.
A brief statement on the Buckinghamshire Council website reads: “Unfortunately, due to weather conditions the school is closed today.”
Grendon Underwood is a village in West Buckinghamshire, and sits on the border with Oxfordshire.
