Aldi has asked Buckinghamshire shoppers to help foodbanks this Christmas.
The supermarket chain has shared a list of the most-needed items, including tinned food, festive treats, toiletries, and pet food.
This comes as new research by Aldi's community partner, Neighbourly, reveals that 80 per cent of foodbanks are seeing increased demand, especially from families and the elderly.
Luke Emery, Aldi UK's national sustainability director, said: "Christmas is always an extremely busy period for foodbanks and other charitable organisations helping those most in need."
Aldi expects to donate more than one million meals to UK charities, community groups, and foodbanks over the festive period.
Shoppers can contribute by donating items at community donation points in Aldi stores nationwide.
