Hundreds attended at the weekend as Christmas got underway in High Wycombe with the 2024 light switch-on.
Attendees were treated to live performances, fairground rides and even a visit from Father Christmas at the event on Saturday.
The lights were switched on at 6.30pm, much to the joy of onlookers, with the town's mayor, Cllr Nathan Thomas among those pressing the big red button.
The event featured performances from Bluey & Bingo and two live music stages at the High Street.

On Frogmoor there were children’s fairground rides, festive walkabout characters, Meet Santa and Christmas carols.
A craft and gift market was also set up alongside a host of food and drink vendors, serving up doughnuts, hot dogs, coffee, mulled wine and hot chocolate.
Dancers from the High Wycombe group, Dance Irish, were among those performing on Saturday.
In a Facebook post afterwards, the group said: "We want to express how proud we are of the group who performed at the opening of High Wycombe’s Christmas lights today!
"Your confidence and courage were inspiring. To the little ones, you faced stage fright bravely and kept going—well done! Juniors, your timings and jumps were beautiful, and adults, your poise and formations were stunning.
"As your teachers, it brings us so much joy to see you represent Dance Irish so brilliantly. Thank you for your hard work. Keep dancing and shining bright!"
