DELAYS are expected for motorists from today (Monday, November 18) as a road is closed for surface works.
Buckinghamshire Highways has informed residents of the Coring Surface Dressing Preparatory work along Lane End Road from the junction with Horns Lane and the end under the M40 bridge.
The work started at 8am today and is expected to end on Tuesday. The closure is in place from 8am until 6pm each day.
In a letter to residents, Bucks Highways said: "Every effort will be made to maintain access for residents within the confines of the closure, although there may be times when it is not safe to do so, and we apologise for any inconvenience.
"It is vital that vehicles are not parked on the road and/or footway as this will prevent the works from being completed.
"We are very grateful for your help and patience while this important work is underway."
