Several restaurants and eateries have been given new food hygiene scores following a recent inspection.
The four establishments in question have all been given a rating of four, which is the second highest they can achieve.
The highest is five, with zero being the lowest.
The restaurants that have been recently inspected are:
- The Chicken Cottage, Dunsham Lane, Aylesbury (date of inspection: October 8)
- Harwood's Catering & Events, Princes Risborough Golf Club, Lee Road, Saunderton (date of inspection: October 8)
- Grand Assembly, Market Square, Marlow (date of inspection: October 8)
- The Oarsman, Spittal Street, Marlow, (date of inspection: October 8)
How the scoring works:
- 5 – Hygiene standards are very good
- 4 – Hygiene standards are good
- 3 – Hygiene standards are generally satisfactory
- 2 – Some improvement is necessary
- 1 – Major improvement is necessary
- 0 – Urgent improvement is necessary
Along with their new food hygiene scores, each venue boasts a respectable Google rating from previous customers.
The Chicken Cottage in Aylesbury has a score of 4.3/5 from 16 reviews, with Princes Risborough Golf Club having the same score, but with 146 online testimonies.
The Grand Assembly, which is Marlow’s brand new Wetherspoons that opened earlier in the autumn, has already had 48 reviews.
It has gained an average score of 4.2/5, whilst the Oarsman in the same town has the highest score of each of the four eateries named, with a rating of 4.5/5 from 376 feedback pieces.
