A village post office will remain closed after its system crashed earlier this week.
In the week commencing Monday, November 4, residents and customers were unable to use the post office based at the Morrisons Daily in Loudwater.
Problems began on Tuesday, November 5 when its computer system ‘was acting slow’, and after they were recommended to restart the programme, glitches began to appear.
It has been out of action since November 6, and no time frame has been given to when it will be repaired.
A sign in the shop window has been displayed to let those in the area know, with a worker from the post office saying that ‘it was frustrating’ that they were unable to use the system.
Those based in Loudwater can either use the post office in Flackwell Heath, or they can venture into the centre of High Wycombe to send their goods.
It is hoped that the issues will be fixed ‘soon’, but no time frame has been given.
