Hundreds of people took to the streets at the weekend as the Marlow Half Marathon returned.
Scores of runners turned out on Sunday, November 3 for the popular annual event, raising thousands for Marlow Sports Club and an array of charities.
As well as the marathon, runners also got involved in the Marlow 7 and The Frankenstein, named in honour of Mary Shelley’s novel “Frankenstein” which she completed whilst living in Marlow.
In 2023, a total of £24,000 was raised through the event.
For this year's event, organisers selected Cancer Research UK and Mind over Mountains as their main charities.
A variety or refreshment options and stalls from sponsors were also available at the Marlow Sports Club.
The Half Marathon was described as "a scenic, yet tough route through the rolling hills of the Chilterns", stretching for 13.1 miles.
