A High Wycombe man has been jailed for three years for drug offences.
Sakhawat Ali, 50, of Deeds Grove, was convicted in July after he pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs – namely heroin, and one count of possession of Class A drugs – namely cocaine.
On Friday, October 25, Ali was sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court to a total of three years in jail.
On March 27 last year, Ali was seen driving on Priory Road, High Wycombe. He was seen to pull over and stop next to another individual and was thought to be engaging in a drug deal.

Officers stopped Ali and he was found to be in possession of Class A drugs. He was arrested and later bailed for further investigation to be conducted.
He was charged on November 15 last year.
Investigating officer PC James Carey, said: “I am satisfied that Ali has been convicted and sentenced and I hope that this result shows that we will not tolerate drug dealers in High Wycombe.
“This is a result of the hard work and dedication by neighbourhood officers and communities within the area.
“We strive to convict further offenders please continue to support us and we assure you we will continue this hard work.”
