A farm in High Wycombe has pleaded with residents to keep their dogs on leads after a sheep was ‘severely’ injured in a dog attack.
Grange Farm, based on Grange Road in Hazlemere, shared a photo of a bloody sheep on Facebook after a “severe” dog attack on Thursday, October 24.
A spokesperson for the small farm near High Wycombe said the dog’s owner “had no control over it” and didn’t have it on a lead.
Another walker spotted the attack unfolding and alerted the farm owners, who called Thames Valley Police.

The farm said they were asked if they wanted to press charges and decided against it – warning that if it happened again, they would have “no choice but to take matters further”.
They added: “We request that people do not walk through the fenced-off areas with sheep in. There are no footpaths through these areas and people should not be walking through them like the gentleman who did the other day thinks he’s entitled to.
“We appreciate the support we’re getting at the farm and hope this kind of incident won’t happen again.”
