The emergency services were called out to Desborough Road in High Wycombe in what residents have described as a ‘serious’ incident.
At around 5.30pm on Wednesday, October 30, a member of the public told the Free Press that someone ‘had attacked three people’ along the street ‘with a weapon’.
One said that ‘a knife or a sword’ was seen, but this has yet to be verified by the authorities.
Police and ambulances were called to the scene after reports were made, with patrol cars going along Desborough Road and Green Street.
One person said: “I heard something happen behind me and one guy was attacking three people.
“I couldn’t believe it.
“It was serious as there was a weapon.
“I’m not too sure what it was but it was a knife or a sword.”
Another person, who owns a shop in the area but has asked to remain nameless, added: “I was told that a guy was running from somebody and he accidentally hit someone outside the shop.
“There was a lady walking in the opposite direction, and she told me that he was running away from somebody and he accidentally hit the guy.
“He then fell to the floor, hit his head and lost three teeth.
“That’s all I know.”
Police tape was spotted around a bollard indicating that the authorities had been to the area, and by 7pm, the ambulances had left.
However, one police car was seen going up and down Desborough Road.
