A new go-karting centre has opened its doors in High Wycombe.

TeamSport Karting officially unveiled itself to the public on Friday, October 25 – the same day as all the schools close in the area for the half-term break.

The track is situated in the Eden Centre and is based in the unit on top of the new Primark store.

The outlet had been used by House of Fraser until their departure from the town in January 2023.

The track stretches over 500 meters, offering thrilling high-speed straights and challenging corners that promise an adrenaline-packed experience for all.

Visitors will have the chance to race in cutting-edge electric go-karts, which can reach speeds of up to 40mph, combining high performance with eco-friendliness.

Additionally, the new venue also features a fully equipped trackside Bar & Kitchen, as well as the competitive socialising game, Sixes Social Cricket, and e-darts.

Dom Gaynor, CEO of TeamSport said: "We're incredibly excited to be opening our first ever UK shopping centre track at Eden Shopping Centre in High Wycombe and to be creating 50 new jobs for the local community.

“This new venue reflects our commitment to providing a fun, inclusive environment that welcomes everyone – whether it's families looking for an action-packed day out, groups of friends ready for some competitive fun, or businesses seeking a unique team-building experience.

“We can’t wait to welcome the local community and visitors to enjoy everything our new venue has to offer, both on and off the track."

A spokesperson from Eden said: “We are thrilled to announce the launch of TeamSport indoor karting at Eden High Wycombe.

"We can’t wait to unveil this highly anticipated, adrenaline-fuelled experience to our customers which marks a new era of entertainment at the shopping centre.

"The state-of-the-art racing track will launch alongside a stylish bar and outdoor roof terrace, where shoppers can enjoy the thrill of racing followed by refreshments within comfortable surroundings."
